หนัง Khai Or หรือชื่อไทยว่า คายอ้อ ขณะทำพิธีได้เกิดเหตุร้ายเมื่อ “ชัย” (อ๊อฟ สุรพล) เสียชีวิตอย่างอนาถ ทำให้ผู้คนในคณะหมอลำร่ำลือว่าเป็นเพราะมันผิดคายอ้อ “เคน” (เน็ค นฤพล) เริ่มสงสัยว่าการตายของชัยอาจจะมีเงื่อนงำ เริ่มค้นหาความจริงว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น “คำแพง” (เบลล์ นิภาดา) สื่อกับวิญญาณของแม่ครูที่มาเตือนว่าอย่าให้ใครลบหลู่ความศรัทธา....หายนะในวงหมอลำเริ่มขึ้น เมื่อ”เดี่ยว” (กานต์ ทศน) และ “แหวว” (อ๋อมแอ๋ม ละมัย แสงทอง) ไม่เชื่อแล้วยัง “ลบหลู่” ความศรัทธาอย่างร้ายแรง “ผู้จัดการหวัด” (ตูมตาม ยุทธนา) เริ่มเห็นผีในวงหมอลำ คำแพงและเคนจับมือกันค้นหาความจริงที่ซ่อนอยู่เบื้องหลังความเชื่อ ความศรัทธา ค้นหาคำตอบ อาถรรพ์คายอ้อมีจริงหรือไม่?

Khai Or During a ceremony, a terrible incident occurred when "Chai" (Aof Surapol) died tragically, leading the members of the Mor Lam troupe to rumor that it was because of a violation of the khay o rite. "Ken" (Nack Naruphon) begins to suspect that Chai's death may have been more than it seems and starts to investigate the truth. "Khampaeng" (Belle Nipada) communicates with the spirit of the matriarch teacher, who warns her not to let anyone disrespect the faith.

Disaster begins to strike the Mor Lam troupe when "Diao" (Kan Tassan) and "Waew" (Om-am Lamai Saengthong) not only disbelieve but also severely "desecrate" the faith. "Manager Wat" (Toomtam Yuttana) starts seeing ghosts among the troupe members. Khampaeng and Ken join forces to uncover the truth hidden behind the beliefs and faith, seeking an answer to whether the curse of khay o is real.
