หนัง Dusun Mayit หรือชื่อไทยว่า ผีบังตาย Four university students; ARYO, YUNI, NITA, and RAKA are hiking up Mount Welirang for their holiday. But their adventure turns into a nightmare when Nita discovers an offering and accidentally falls into a lake. After that incident, Nita changes. She no longer seems like herself—her smile turns siniste, and she begins uttering strange Javanese words: “One, two, three... Those who come will forget the way home.” Worried about Nita’s condition, they decide to descend the mountain—but the trail back is nowhere to be found. They are lost. The path keeps looping back to the same place, leading them instead to a ghostly market, terrifying figures, a twisted puppet show, and endless tall grass that traps them. With help from Mbah Surop, a mysterious old man, they learn that they have entered the Village of the Dead—a cursed village demanding human sacrifices.
