หนังภาพยนตร์ BEHIND THE SCREENS หรือในชื่อภาษาไทยว่า เพื่อนรัก เพื่อนลับ เรื่องราวของความสัมพันธ์อันซับซ้อนระหว่างสองเพื่อนสนิทที่ฉากหน้าดูผูกพันและเข้าอกเข้าใจกันเป็นอย่างดี ทว่าภายใต้รอยยิ้มและความใกล้ชิดนั้น กลับซ่อนความลับบางอย่างที่ต่างฝ่ายต่างไม่เคยเปิดเผยให้อีกฝ่ายได้รับรู้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความรู้สึกที่ลึกซึ้งเกินเลยกว่าคำว่าเพื่อน หรืออดีตอันดำมืดที่ถูกซุกซ่อนไว้ในเงามืด
