หนังภาพยนตร์ THE COACH OF DREAMS หรือในชื่อภาษาไทยว่า เดอะโค้ช รถขนฝัน ชมรมฟุตบอลเยาวชน "แตงโมลูกหลวงพ่อ" เป็นทีมเล็กๆ จากต่างจังหวัดที่ฝันอยากไปถึงเวทีระดับประเทศ ภายใต้การนำของโค้ชสกล ครูผู้มีอดีตนักฟุตบอลอาชีพ และโค้ชโย่ง ผู้ช่วยที่มีหัวใจเต็มเปี่ยม ทั้งสองพยายามปลุกไฟความฝันให้เด็กๆ แม้จะขาดแคลนทรัพยากร

สัญลักษณ์ของทีมคือรถบรรทุก 6 ล้อเก่าคันหนึ่ง หรือที่เรียกว่า "รถขนฝัน" ที่พาเด็กๆ เดินทางไปแข่งขันในแต่ละสนาม ท่ามกลางอุปสรรคและความแตกแยก ทีมต้องรวมใจกันอีกครั้งเพื่อก้าวสู่รอบชิงชนะเลิศ ซึ่งเป็นจุดพิสูจน์ว่าความฝันและมิตรภาพแท้จริงมีค่ามากกว่าถ้วยรางวัลใดๆ
